Well, we are off and swimming!  It is so fun to see the kids in the water and I know I am excited to get this season going!  This first email has lots of updates so please read all the way through.

General reminders:

• All swimmers in the 6u and 7/8 age group must be supervised during all practices by a parent or designated person over 14 yo.This person must be in the immediate pool/pavilion area (not on the tennis courts).

• The baby pool is closed during all practices and meets

• The Riverside Club Board asked me to remind everyone that dogs are not permitted on Club property and the field is temporarily closed to allow the new sod to grow.

Meets:

Our practice “meet” is next Wednesday May 20th.  We have a photographer coming to take individual pictures (if you want them) beginning about 3:45 with team picture about 4:15 and meet beginning at 4:30.  Bring your checkbook if you want to order pictures.  The concession stand will be open and selling treats, pizza and chick-fil-a!

Date Change: The date of our first dual meet against Hammond Hills has been changed to Thursday May 28th.  The rain date is Friday the 29th so pray for clear sunny skies on the 28th!

Volunteers:

I finally have the volunteer pages up and running.  You can access them by clicking the square box with the “V” inside that is located next to each event on the calendar.  We ask that each family volunteer at 3 meets.  You are certainly more than welcome to sign up for more than 3 slots- it takes 42 volunteers to run one home meet so we are always happy to have extra volunteers!  

Suits:

If you ordered suits from Denise at online registration or very early in the season, they should be in soon.  If you still need one, you can order from our website- just click on the Swim Shop tab near the top right.  We wear navy blue suits and I have samples to try on.

Payment:

If you have not gotten me your check, please do so asap.
