Good evening Streaks fans!

I am excited for another fun meet tomorrow.  We are the home team so our warm ups are first.  Therefore, Coach Will would love to have swimmers there by 4:15 so we can get marked and warmed up from 4:35-4:50.  Some of you are in camps- no worries- get there as soon as you can.

Bullpen volunteers please arrive about 4:00 get your stuff down and mark kids.  Judges and timers will likely have a meeting with the starter about 5:10. I still need a judge, a 7/8 bullpen mom/dad and 3 timers (sounds like the start of a bad joke).

Three last announcements:  1)The theme for our home meet is USA in honor of the women's soccer team starting into the World Cup.  So, deck your kids in flag shirts, necklaces and their best USA gear.

2) Mountaire-Riverside Swimming for Simmons! We're honoring a special teacher at this week's meet who needs our help. HFE's Shiranne Simmons is awaiting a lung transplant. You can show your support by Sharpie-inking swimmers "Swimming for Simmons" and we'll have an area set-up for swimmers to make cards to send some cheer, or they can create at home and bring to the meet.  We'll have a drop-box for cards and donations to help offset her expenses (cash  or check payable to The Georgia Transplant Foundation, please put Shiranne Simmons in the “memo” section of the check ).  Thanks so much! 

3) We will head to Bruster's after the meet- it does close at 10pm but I plan on being done long before that!
