Dear Streaks Nation:

Well, 3 meets down, 2 to go and lots of events in between! Please read the info carefully to the end- there is a lot going on!

Tuesday June 16th- our home meet against Mark Trail starts at 6:00 pm instead of 5:30. Swimmers should report at 4:45 and bullpen volunteers should report at 4:30. I still need a few 2nd half volunteers in concessions, timing and judging!

Wednesday June 17th- Kids and Coaches day at Stars and Strikes Bowling at 8767 Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs. This is an optional event but a big hit with the kids. Kids 8 and under (with parent supervision) are invited to bowl with the coaches from 2-4 pm and 9 and up are invited from 4-6 pm.

Thursday June 18th- Deadline to RSVP for League Championship Meet.  One of the benefits of joining the ASA is the League Championship Meet on Wednesday June 24th from 2-6 pm. This is another optional event but gives our swimmers the opportunity to compete against other swimmers in one of the fastest pools in the country (Georgia Tech). The top 40-50 individuals and top 10 relays in each event will continue on to compete on Sunday June 28th in the finals. The registration is $20/swimmer (check made out to Riverside Swim Team and give to me) and Will needs to know by June 18th  (Thursday) if you are interested. Also on Thursday June 18th- morning practice will be our "tshirt or sweatsuit" practice.  8 and under kids wear a tshirt and socks over their suits for practice.  9 and older kids can wear shorts/long sleeve tshirts over suits.

There will not be any afternoon practice on Thursday June 18th.

Monday June 22nd- our last meet is away at Wynterhall in Dunwoody.  Since this is a Monday meet, RSVP deadline is Saturday at noon. The reschedule date (if needed) will be Tuesday the 23rd.
