Streaks,

Well, it was not the easiest first meet, but it was still a fun one! I cannot express my gratitude to all of the parents for sticking around and waiting out the weather. The forecast looks even worse for tomorrow so it was great to be able to get the meet in tonight. The head coach for Hammond Hills told me that she wanted to be sure I thanked everyone for her as well. Hammond Hills is a team we have been swimming for longer than I have been alive and every year it always one of our most fun meets. 

Thank you so much to all of the parent volunteers who were incredible in helping us with changes to our lineups and dealing with the thunder. The kids all had a blast and all of us coaches are very proud of everyone. And to top it all off... WE WON!!! 

I don't know about y'all, but I plan on slipping into a very deep sleep tonight! We will have game day in the morning starting at 9:30 for the 8 and unders and will do Swimmer of the Meet awards at 10:00.
