Good morning Streaks!!!!

We are now just a few days away from our first practice of the season - Monday 5/8!    We have 7 coaches excited to get the season started, and we look forward to seeing everyone next week.  There are a few things I wanted to update everyone on, so please read the entirety of this email.

• RSVP sites are OPEN on the registration website, however, the volunteer portion will not be open until Monday evening.   Please remember to volunteer for 3 different swim meets so that we can make sure all spots are covered.  If at any point you cannot cover your volunteer shift, please reach out to someone to cover for you.  We definitely don’t need any surprises on meet days!  We will send out weekly reminders regarding RSVP deadlines, but feel free to go ahead and RSVP now if you know you will be available.
• The practice and meet schedule is listed completely on the registration website, as well as The Riverside Club website.   If any meet is re-scheduled due to bad weather, the make-up days will be tentatively scheduled for Thursdays.
• Practices will begin on 5/8 at The Riverside Club.  Here is a breakdown of the practice schedule until school is out.
  • 6 and under  4:00-4:30
  • 7 & 8  4:30-5:30
  • 9 & up  5:30-6:30

** I will also attach a copy of the schedule with this email

• If you are still in need of a swim suit, you may order directly from Mickey Plumley, our supplier.  I have attached that form as well with all of his information.  He will have the suit shipped directly to you at this point.  If you already ordered a suit, I will be distributing those during the first week of practice.  ** I do have one girls 26 available to sell if anyone is in need of one **
• For anyone who is still pending payment, feel free to bring them to practice, or you may mail to my attention – Pam Shippy, 330 Colewood Way, Sandy Springs, GA  30328.  Check should be made to Riverside Swim Team.
• T-shirts have already been ordered and will be distributed at the practice meet, unless they arrive earlier.
• I will be there on Monday to answer any questions, and will have a short parent presentation to go over any information needed.  This is especially important for any new members.  I will do this around 4:15 pm for any new parents with 6 and under swimmers, but will do again later in the day to get to as many parents as possible.  And don't worry, we will make sure everyone has the information they need!
