Good afternoon Streaks Family!

As many of you probably recall, the swim team did a fundraiser a couple of years back for a retired HFE teacher, Ms. Simmons.  She emailed earlier this week with an update, and I wanted to share that with the team.  Please see the below email.  

Good News Riverside!!
I finally received my lung transplant on April 8th and am walking free of supplemental 02. It is so fantastic to breathe! I was overwhelmed by the fundraiser you had for me and now those funds can be put to my life saving meds.
Have a great summer. You have a special place in my heart.
