Happy Summer Streaks!

I hope all of you are enjoying your first weekend of summer - I know my family is having a great time!

We had a great practice meet the other night, and I am thrilled the weather held out for us.  Even if it did get a tad chilly!

We have our first official swim meet this coming Wednesday, May 31st, at Hammond Hills pool.  The RSVP is open for this meet, and please remember, THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL.   If you do not RSVP, then you will not be placed in the meet.  The deadline to RSVP is Monday the 29th at NOON.  This will allow the coaches ample time to prepare the meet.  They have to send the meet information to Hammond Hills on Monday, so this deadline is required.

The Hammond Hills pool has fewer lanes than Riverside, so I will probably move a few of my lane timers to other available volunteer positions.  If you have a preference for that, please let me know.  Otherwise, I will just handle as you arrive.  We do have a few volunteer spots left, so please take a look and help out where you can!  

The meet will start promptly at 5:30 - so please arrive no later than 4:30 for warm-ups AND to allow for the volunteers to label your child with the events they are swimming.  If you are a bullpen volunteer, then please arrive by 4:15 so you can assist in labeling the kids.
