Go Streaks!  We are looking forward to another fun meet tomorrow night!  Please remember, if you are a volunteer, arrive plenty early in order to be prepared for your role.  Swimmers need to arrive by 4:15 to start getting marked, and we will start the meet promptly at 5:30.  Please note:  give yourself plenty of time to get there.  Traffic in the afternoon could make it tricky, so be prepared!  I will have a table there for volunteer check-in just like last week.  If you have any follow up questions, please reach out to Tracey or myself.  If you have any swimming concerns, please reach out to Will directly!

We are looking forward to hosting our meet with The Riverside Club Tuesday at the Gainsborough Club.

 Our address is 1961 Gainsborough Drive, Chamblee, 30341.  Gainsborough Drive is just inside the perimeter off of Chamblee-Dunwoody Road.

Regarding Gainsborough Club and our facility, we are small and without a lot of pool deck area.  Your bullpen will be along the far side of the pool.  You will also have access to the grassy area just outside the pool for overflow.  There is one canopied gazebo next to the pool, but we suggest bringing pop-up shade canopies and chairs to set up in the grassy area.

 A word of caution:

Please drive slowly through our neighborhood.  We have a couple of home owners (non-club members) who complain to the Chamblee Police Department about “speeders” along Gainsborough’s streets during swim meets.  Chamblee Police will be patrolling the area in response to those complaints and I’d hate for anyone to receive an unwanted souvenir.

 Parking:

Our parking lot will be reserved for your team’s use.  When it fills, please park along Gainsborough Drive, IN THE GRASS, perpendicular to the street. Street access for emergency vehicles must be maintained.  We will have parking attendants assisting the perpendicular street parking.
