Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to evaluations yesterday! Everyone did great, and we are looking forward to a great swim season!

If you were waiting to register until after evaluations, please make sure and have that completed no later than Monday, May 19th. All swimmers who participated in evaluations yesterday have been cleared to join the team!

Practices start Monday, May 5th, at The Riverside Club pool, and we will be on this practice schedule until Wednesday, May 21st. We know this is a busy time of year, but please try and make as many practices as possible. This is a critical time, and our first meet is Tuesday, May 27th!

A couple of quick housekeeping items to go over:

~Volunteer Job Sign Ups for Swim Season- Just a reminder before the season that each family is required to volunteer for THREE roles throughout the season. We have worked to cut down on the Job sign-ups, so the remaining ones are critical to running a meet! We will monitor sign-ups this season and reach out to families who have not volunteered when we need additional hands. Thank you so much for understanding that this is a true "team" effort!

~Swimsuits-

If you have not ordered a suit for your swimmer, there is still plenty of time before the first meet. These do tend to ship pretty quickly, but please don't want it too long! Here is the link again:

~Merch-

You are still able to purchase all of our awesome Streaks Merch. Alison Weiner (hoodies, team tanks, fuzzies, etc) and Susanne Teegarden (Hats) are both still accepting orders.

~Pictures and Mock Meet-

~Remember to mark your calendars for Thursday, May 15th, for Individual/Team pics and our Mock Meet. Be sure to declare your swimmer whether that is attending or not attending this meet so the coaches can start imputing lanes and heats. If your child is not declared the coaches will think they arent attending and there can be no changes made!

• PICTURES- will begin Individual pictures at 4 pm (PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE AT THE POOL DECK EARLY). We will have order forms that you can fill out once you arrive. The team picture will be around 5:30 pm. If you want your swimmer to be in the team picture, please try and have them there around that time.
• The meet will begin shortly after the team picture. We all remember last year was a little hectic, but the coaches are already working on heats, lanes, races, etc., and we are confident this year will be much smoother!! PLEASE be patient with the coaches and the coordinators as we work through this mock meet! Once your swimmer has swum the race(s) they are scheduled to swim, they are free to go.
• CONCESSIONS-We will NOT have concessions at the mock meet, and it will likely run through dinner time, so please plan accordingly.
• The volunteer shifts for this meet have been posted. Once again, we cannot run this practice meet without the help of parents, so please consider signing up for a volunteer spot!
