Thanks for bearing with us on the weather updates this morning.  Tomorrow looks to be another wet morning, and we will keep you posted if we need to cancel practice.  We will send an email by 8:00 am if we cannot hold practice.  

Meet: We are looking forward to our meet tomorrow against Roxboro!  We still need one judge and one timer, so please volunteer if you can help.  See below for details from the Roxboro team coordinator:

1. We will provide some pop up tents for shade over your team bullpen area.

2. We have deck space, but limited seating available for spectators. Foldable, tailgate style chairs are encouraged.

3. We will have a concession stand with grilled burgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and candy. Venmo or cash, small bills requested. 

4. No glass allowed on the property during a swim meet, this includes Pyrex dishes, jelly jars, bottles, glasses, dishes or any other glass or ceramic materials.

5. Our neighborhood is an old Atlanta neighborhood with narrow streets and big hills. We have a drop off area for equipment or passengers. We have attached a parking map for your team. We close our parking lot for swim meets. Please do not try to enter our parking lot.  We have an off duty City of Atlanta police officer to help with parking and traffic. Please respect and follow his instructions. Please do not block driveways or mailboxes. Please do not park on lawns.

6. It is a Tuesday in June in Atlanta so you know there is always a chance of rain or thunder. We do not have a clubhouse or other suitable structure to wait out a thunderstorm. We encourage our families to wait in their cars in the case of thunder or lightning. 

7. Riverside on deck arrival is 4:30pm, warm up time is 5pm, meet starts at 5:30pm. All things perfect and we should be done by 9pm.  

Deadlines: We continue to get emails after the deadline asking if swimmers can be added to meets.  Once the lineups have been set and shared with the opposing team, it is not possible to add swimmers.  Please pay close attention to the deadlines.  We have opened the meet entries for our remaining meets, so please go ahead, check your calendars, and declare your swimmers now!  The sign-up for next week's meet at Huntcliff closes Friday at 9:00 pm.  

** ASA Championship Meet! **  ASA will hold its annual Championship Meet at Georgia Tech the week of June 21st.  We hope to see many of our swimmers there!  The schedule has not been set, but our swimmers will likely swim on June 23rd or June 24th.  In order to participate, you must declare your swimmer by this Sunday, June 13th.  The registration fee is $40 per swimmer and must be paid via check.  Please make checks payable to The Riverside Club.  Registration fees are non-refundable.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Coach Katie Hillard.  

Game Day Wednesday: We will follow the same schedule as last week - 9:30 - 10:00 all 8 & unders, 10:00 am - 10:30 am - awards ceremony and doughnuts, 10:30 am - 11:00 am - all 9 & ups.
