Meet TONIGHT vs. Hammond Hills (@ Riverside)
Streaks Parents and Swimmers,
I hope everyone is excited for tonight as the coaches and I are! We have been preparing and looking forward to this date for several weeks now as we have been working with your kids in the pool. A new notes on tonight and today to make the experience go smoothly and efficiently:
First, please arrive around 4pm, as our warm-up starts at 4:30. It is important that our warm-up be done by 5, as we want to allow Hammond Hills their time to warm-up, while also getting the meet underway promptly at 5:30. When you arrive, look for Coach Erin in the Pavilion with a sign in sheet.
Secondly, please try your best to keep your kids from running around like chickens with their heads cut off all day. They have been working for several weeks to regain comfort and stamina in the water, and a long day of playing and running around will have a direct impact on their performance tonight. Kids love to hear me say this, but please let them curl up with a movie this afternoon in an effort to conserve their energy for the pool later.
Lastly, this is slightly last minute as I did not have much time to plan after a busy Memorial Day, but we want to do a pink out tonight as a theme. It isn't mandatory, but whatever you may have to support the theme and show out for Breast Cancer Awareness is appreciated!
I will see each of you later and am excited to get this season fully in swing!
Coach Grayson
