Streaks Parents,

It has been a fantastic start to the 2019 Streak Swim Team season!  Along with the other coaches, I am thrilled with what I have seen from each and every kid both skill-wise and attitudes.  There are just a few things that I wanted to touch on as we move forward in the season:

First, I have noticed that on occasion there have been kids swimming in a group that was not their own.  Unless it is run past me first, I tend to try and avoid this because if a kid is younger and swimming up, it can inhibit and slow down the group.  If there are conflicts and that is the only way to get him/her to practice, come and talk with me and we can work something out!  I want to be flexible as possible, especially as school and sports are still wrapping up.

Secondly, we have our official practice meet next Wednesday, May 22nd!  If at all possible, please try your best to be there because it will be a fun night, as well as a good way for me to understand where each kid is at and be able to accommodate their teaching accordingly.  It is just our team swimming, so it will be a very quick and painless experience!

Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone for being so welcoming to me thus far, it has made teaching a lot easier and WAY more enjoyable.  I feel very at home and coming to work is a pleasure, not a job.  So, thank you all!

Practice the rest of the week will be normal times, so I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
